They Dance in Worship
Toes and heels strike the floor.
Toes and heels sweep gracefully.
Some move fast while some move slow.
Bodies flow smoothly with practiced ease
They bend with elegance
They gyrate in ecstasy
Lovers sway in tender embraces
They glide with rhythm
and intertwine with compassion
The moon glides across the sky
As faithfully last night as it has since the first.
The sun blazes in Glory, Moving East to West
Scorching Mars and sustaining Earth
The wind blows calm and it blows with furry
Making leaves and rain dance with its every whim
The oceans ebb and flow
Mighty, Vast, and powerful
Predictable in its movements yet wrathful in its devastation
with reefs as abundant as any rainforest
and depths as barren as any desert
All dance in worship,
Though to what, who knows
Something wrong with this poem?
