They Deserve Better

Why can't they have rights?

As animals ourselves we believe all should be treated equal and fair

Yet we allow our fellow animals to be mistreated, starved, and killed

Why can't they have rights?

Are we scared to allow an animal lesser than ourselves to have rights that protect them?

Are we worried this will bring an uprise amoung our kind?

Are we worried this would affect our way of life?

No more meat? No more animal products? No more cruel sports?

Giving animals right would not change how we live

Rights, would only change how we live amoung other animals

Rights, would end the cruel treatment

Rights, would end the uncalled for deaths

Rights, would end the suffering of all animal kind

Rights, would give us a chance to live in hamory with all animals alike

Considering humans are only mere animals

Only difference is humans have rights and animals have nots

They deserve better than what we give them

As humans our standards of treatment for animals needs to be rasied

Rasied to standards good enough for our children

The right to shelter, food, water, and protection from cruel treatment
