They Dont Know

They don't know why I'm mad

They don't know all the scary things of my past

The Hurt. The Pain. The unspoken words. and unshed tears.

The angry I have towards life should be feared.

They don't know that the mask I'm hiding behind is slowly cracking.

They don't know that my past is quickly becoming my present.

Everything is now a reality.

The shaky foundation that the glass house is built on is falling apart.

The ones I love are caught in the crossfire.

Nowhere to run. Nowhere to Hide.

The little girl in me is coming back alive

And the little girl in the crossfire might not survive.
