They Envy You

I will tell you a secret.

They envy you,

the angels.

You and your sins.

because you can risk it,

your entire soul,

for a moment of adrenaline,

or love or lust or a dream.

Everything is not guaranteed,

you are not promised Heaven.

You will never be further from death than you are now.

You will never be here, again.
