They Lie In Wait


They lie in wait to decompose, Not one mourner ever shows. No funeral to say goodbye, It was simply time to die. They had their ten minutes of fame, Got rave reviews for their game. O the grand colors they displayed! I must say, I'm quite dismayed That no one spoke on their behalf. I shall write their epitaph. (Something there is in winter leaves Only the mindful percieves.)
