They Lost Two

Two mother's tears, no heart heavier than the other

two sons' cries, both gone forever but only one died

grief immeasurable as lines are drawn in the sand.

Both sons are lost in a bloody, endless cycle,

fingers pointed and blame recieved for things they didn't do

the mother's, they lost two

Another one of their brothers gone for good

their friends are wondering how they will get through

no one acknowledges that their mothers... they lost too

Bars hold one while a grave holds the other,

one mother's heart is locked away and the other's is burried its true,

to violence and and ignorance the mothers lost to
