They say

They say the enemy is the inner me

"They" as in society,
but all the fingers are pointing at you.
What we all fail to realize is we are society.
We judge, we laugh. We joke, we cry.
Its always the same
Friends turn into foe
People come and go.
Troubles and worries come and stay.
Anger and sadness
Happy moments
It's the same bullshit over and over again.
We learn that there is no fairy tales
No happy ending
Well sort of
We get the evil step mother
And the scary step siblings
Oh and all the hurt and hatred
You meet that "special" boy
But he turns out to be worthless
He crushed my heart
Tore my gown
Oh and he stepped
On my glass slipper.
Theres no beauty just a beast
No neverland
Well
You're never going anywhere
No exploring like Ariel
No flounder and Sebastian.
No happy pretty mermaids
Just a fucked up story excuse me messed up cycle that never ends
