They Say

I went to school today,

They say I'm fat,

They say I'm ugly,

They say I'm worthless,

They say no one likes me,

They say I should kill myself.

I met some new people today,

They say I'm funny,

They say I'm cool,

They say I'm pretty,

They say I'm kind,

They say I'm loved.

I woke up today,

I woke up happy.

I chose to listen to my friends,

I chose to live.
