They Say
They say it’s easier getting up than coming down
A laugh comes easy being hurt
When dancing as a clown
They say a lot of fucking things
From head to tippy-toe
Like “Keep your cool”
Or “Go for it”
Bullshit in false voices
“We be fast and they be slow”
Backlit green of leafs make olive shadows on the water
Rocks are massaged into pebbles by current’s caress
One-organism minnows beneath the cliff’s face
In the pool of the spring
Watch yourself, young child of stars
You may never leave
Nymphs whisper secrets in your ear
And honey drip your dreams
Ah, who knows about it anyway?
Comme ci comme ca
Come mercy, cum with a shiver
Suffocating emptiness of not being around
The struggle to not let it
Creep in at least once
Everyday
Love the way you love it
Love it without being there
Love it as black pear seeds
Love it as big as your heart
Love it not at all
Love it for reminding you
Love it for making an insanity out of the miniscule
Simply
Love it
