They Say; I Know

Thu, 08/06/2015 - 22:05 -- Jana

"Listen," they say, "for his graceful whisper. 'I love you,' He says."

"Wait," they say, "for his healing touch. 'I'l heal you,' He says."

"Look," they say, "for his understanding guidance. 'I will lead you,' He says."

"Don't fret," they say, "for He makes beautiful things. 'You are mine,' He says."

I listen, but I hear no whisper.

I know He loves me.

I wait, but I feel no touch.

I know He heals me.

I look, but I see no guidance.

I know He is leading me

I fret, but I know He makes beautiful things,

And he loves my imperfection.

Although He forgives,

I do not want to disappoint

My Father, My Lord,

For He is the reason I live.
