They Think They Know

They think...

They think I know nothing because I am blonde.

But I have made the Dean's List every semester of college.

They think I am powerless because I am small.

But I will surprise you with my strength, both emotional and physical.

They think I have it all together by the smile on my face.

But my family is falling apart.

They think I am full of myself.

But I like to think of it as confidence, and maybe some sass.

People think that they know me, and some people do, but they don't know what I have been through, and how hard I have worked to get where I am.

I will surprise you.
