they will all leave you broken-hearted

one by one,

you will realize

that there really is

no one

but yourself

who can save you

because people are busy

and they forget about you

or they take forever to reply

you will be disappointed if you expect

them to take care of you

you will cry

when you are fragile

and want someone

to hug

you will have trouble breathing

from all your pent-up anxiety

you will sing

your tiny heart out

because music can heal you

you will feel trapped

because you don't like being at home

but you don't like being at school

so you must distract yourself

to believe that there is a happy place

in your head

in the end, nobody understands you

and you don't expect them to

but all that you ask

is for them to be there

is that too much to ask
