They Will Hear Me

I hear them,

When I am gone,

They will hear me.

A legacy of a girl,

Myself.

Listen to what I had to offer,

To the world,

And to others.

Dead bodies do not talk,

They still listen to them still.

They will hear me.

Though I am dead, I must live on,

My impact will echo,

Echo into their hearts.

To live,

They must hear me,

Hear my struggles, hear my passions.

Understand me in every fashion.

Hear my hopes, hear my sorrows,

I might be gone by tomorrow.

Listen.

My life speaks,

It speaks of my story, in all of its glory,

It speaks of my fight, even when it's not right.

A legacy of a girl,

Myself.

They will hear me, though I am gone

They will hear me, and I live on.
