Thief of Truth
Pages and pages filled with honest words,
For those who seek them are somewhat blurred,
Monstrous Shadows are lurking at night,
With an evil desire to end the fight,
For they are influenced by the words not written,
But have joy for when the books are to be smitten.
Hide them from your familiar foes,
Their weapon is right under your nose,
It’s murderous flames engulf the words,
And the pages that are left are like torchered birds.
Defenseless as they are left there to die,
The monster is staring them in the eye,
It’s awful reign never stops,
Until it consumes every drop.
