The Thin Past

Why am I doing this to myself? Why? To be what? To skinny? To be thin? Deceiving those loved ones, living a lie. Feeling pain inside, there can’t be a win. Once a month, once every week, once a day. It’s starting to hurt, I feel, oh so weak! It’s hard to stop this, I think and I lay. I don’t want to eat, it’s seen in my cheek. I used to love food. I used to be good. I take something in, I take something out. Think! I really need to stop, not I should! I need to choose a diff’rent better route. I will conquer it, I will defeat this. Making it my past, something not to miss.
