Thin Walls

Dear Your Angry Words,

The walls are thin.

My fragile ears become numb

With the sulking and stinging venom

Of you.

I may not be as old

Or as wise

Or as aware;

But what I do know

Is this,

Sound travels quick

In a house

With walls as thin as these.

Yes in fact,

I hear the fights,

about money, milk, and me.

I hope one day

these walls will break

and my secret will be free.

For I can hear

Everything,

Each syllable and plea.
