Things and Moments

knowing so little

yet seeing and feeling and tasting so much

trying to enjoy

while toiling and stressing and bleeding for naught

but, no, not for naught

for oneness

for loveliness

for the beauty, the light, the love, the laugh

never waiting for precious moments

but creating precious moments

trusting in you

begin smiling and dancing and laughing with joy

knowing that you

are not toiling and stressing and bleeding for naught

but, in fact, for everything

for light

for sound

for the experience, the unknown, the just-this-once, the every-single-day

the view from mountaintop

and kiss goodnight

revel in each thing and every moment
