Things Get Better

People of all ages, there are some things you must know. A story I feel I should tell all. About how things had to go. About a girl named Paige. She was so innocent and young. She didn't know much and she didn't know where to belong. She grew up poor but with a crazy imagination. She loved adventure and drawing and all of her own creations. Her family loved her and she was raised right. But her life was just starting and she didn't realize how much she'd have to fight. She was bullied in school, from Kindergarden to the 12th. They picked on her because of her looks and her lack of wealth. She wasn't ugly but growing up she felt she really was. She just wanted to feel excepted no matter the cost. Then things at home shifted. It seemed to happen over night. Family turned on family and she was caught in between the fight. She was forced to move from home to home. Each place a new challenge but each time she still felt alone. She started to date but they were all dogs. She wanted to save her innocence so she ended up alone and in a fog. She started drinking and skipping class. She would stay locked in her room. No one ever cared they just ignored her and called her rude. She battled with depression, she just wanted to die. But she was smarter than that and knew she had to survive. She turned from God, her family, and the world. She tried to make herself tough, numb, and more. But that didn't happen no matter how she tried. She kept getting hurt and cried and cried. Then finally one day things did get better. She found a wonderful man who wanted to protect her. He promised to love her, provide, and support. He promised her everything, it was so much to absorb. Then a few years later, they had a home and a life. They had a baby, careers, he made her his wife. The meaning to this story is one for all. No matter how hard life gets. Don't just let yourself fall. Death, abuse, poverity, and war. Are all terrible things but there is always more. God wants all his children to learn on there own. So push through the struggle and work to the bone. After every fire, there is always regrowth.
