things happening in the silence

i'm scared of silence

within sience you hear everything

within the silence you hear thoughts

your thoughts

others thoughts

i'm scared of those thoughts

the ideas they bring

the actions they might lead to

so when i'm asked what scares me the most

i answer

the things happenin in the silence

silence hides in the darkness

it creeps up to those unaware

it attacks with vengeance

it attacks without remorse

and as you fill the silence

with words

words become not enough

and it gets to you

you give in and now...

after everything you've gone through

the ups and the downs

you listened

you heard the silence

and you became the silence you once feared
