The Things I Can Never Say

I think you might be crazy, I should have known to stay away, Do you know how much you hurt me? In the beginning things were easy, Then it all became disarray; I think you might be crazy. I remember the first time you slapped me, But after you apologized, I still let you stay; Do you know how much you hurt me? One minute we were cuddling intimately, The next, you tried choking me in a disgusting array, I think you might be crazy. I tried confronting you in a moment of idiocy, You shoved me down the stairs and ran away; Do you know how much you hurt me? I’m afraid no one will believe me, These are the things I can never say; I think you might be crazy, Because I know how much you hurt me.
