The Things I Carry
There are many things that I carry
Some nice, some mean, some in between
Different persons, places, and things

I carry wolves, but I don’t carry sheep
I carry water, but it’s not that deep
I carry medicine, but it’s not for the streets
Then again, I don’t know everything I’m carrying yet
They could be sharp, little, black with red

I wanna put my big bag in an even bigger Bently
But now I’m just a target, and people arn’t friendly
This one thing he carried was to the side of my face
“Give me the things that you carry, or I’m gunning!”
I opened the bag, turned it over, and what came out
Was nothing
There was a little chuckle, then a POW sound
I walked away, untouched and proud
The things I carry...
