The Things I Know (Why I Write)
Compressed with so much anger,
My body cannot take.
So little, frail, and meager,
I then begin to shake.
The feelings forced inside me,
Are harshly packed so full.
Injustice overwhelms me,
From a world that’s far too cruel.
Dysphoric feelings grow,
What happens isn’t right.
I’m troubled by the things I know,
And that is why I write.
