things i love

that smell, petrichor.

old open books.

stirring the dust collected

in untouched places inside

the sun, slow and sure

falling, there.

shining through blue glass

its warmth on my shoulders

a Girl with hazel eyes

green-brown,

and something else

something new

these are things i love

that bring me

small comfort

in this existence.
