things i was too scared to say in person (2)


I should have brought it up When you asked if I was alright In the back of your sisters car Sweating it out in the parking garage Sewing needle and ink Poking a smile into my thigh Inches away from where I used to Poke scars into my skin With a golden safety pin Sharply in and pulling up I hate needles And I had forgotten how it felt Until I let you Create a happier permanence There Similar but different
