The Things I Would Do...

I think it would be kinda cool

If I could run my school.

There would be none of the "sit down and be still" stuff.

We would be up and movin' because we have had enough!

No one would be sleeping and snoring.

Because my school's classes wouldn't be boring!

We would learn about math and language and things we can use

None of the boring old kind of news!

My school's days would be longer but the weeks would be shorter - 

The kids would be happier and there would be no disorder!

Lunchtime would be longer with time outdoors

You could play sports if you want...or just keep scores!

I know my poem is a little cheesy

and my words might sound a little too breezy.

But what I really would like is to learn in college

So will you give me a scholarship.....please-y?
