Things We Do

When I'm in love I will be honest

I'll want to always be here for you

Try to have your back and support you

I will try my hardest to keep you happy

You will stay on my mind

Although my temper will raise I won't let that affect us

Now that we're in love

I learn more about myself each day that I'm learning about you

We respect each other and treat one another like royalty

We have many ups and downs

We fuss and fight

And sometimes believe that we're not good enough

There are hard times

But there are more good ones

Even when we feel like giving up, we don't

Since we're truly in love

You're the only guy I want

The only person I could spend the rest of my life with

I share my problems with you and yours with me

You're my bestfriend

You're teaching me how to have hope and believe

You wiped my tears

And you provide a strong shoulder to cry on

You fight for me when I can't fight for myself

Now that we know we're in love

We start to learn through each other's actions

We care for each other almost more than ourselves

We make each other laugh

But we also make each other scream

We have disagreements but never do we let them break us apart

We never try or even think of hurting one another

We build each other up

And believe in ourselves when no one else will

You see love isn't always what you think

Love can be hard

And cause heartbreak

But if you play or cards right

Love can be beautiful

And is worth your time

Love will require effort and communication

We do all these things,

To make each other smile

To keep each other happy

To comfort each other

To support each other

And to prove that if no one else is there you're there for each other

But most importantly, I do these things

Because I love you
