The things we'll never know

What could have been,

Will never be,

Ideas forgotten,

Memories deceased,

Lost in the depths of the mind,

Look inside and you'll never find,

What could have been.

That's how life goes these days it seems,

Take one path not knowing what the other leaves,

But there's no turning back

No, not on this wicked path,

But curiousity has it's own wrath

That hounds and hounds

and then

it's gone.

What could have been.
