Things Will Change

Thing will change

I say as he storms away

I should've just let him search my phone

Things will change

I say as we sit in tense silence

I just wasn't ready for sex

Things will change

I say as he forces himself on me

He just needs to get it out of his system

Things will change

I say, rubbing the red grip marks on my arms

I shouln't have stood in his way

Things will change

I say, tears running down my face

he kicked me out of instinct

he was right

I'm just annoying

I should just shut up

maybe those friends arent good for me

I shouldn't mess with him when he's tired

I should have known better than to hug him when he's hungry

I should have left him alone

I should have gone after him

Things didn't get better

Until he was gone
