The Things You Do

You are one of a kind that is hard to find.

Nobody has a smile like you, always vibrant and cheerful,

Just like your personality that brightens my day.

With every word you say, it brings me joy,

Happiness that is never ending and won’t ever fade away.

My sadness and anger slips out of my mind when I look at you.

I see your perfectly freckled skin that has been kissed by the sun,

Your beautiful green-blue eyes that shines radiantly.

You look at me as if I’m the only thing that matters,

Making me feel like I am your one in a million.

The butterflies in my stomach never go away.

I sometimes fear our love will become unrequited,

But your constant reassurance makes me feel certain.

You are very special and unique to me,

The euphoric delight that you bring me is immutable.
