the things you say

you way you miss me,

but you really don't

you say you love me,

but what even is love?

i'll tell you what it's not,

it's not crying every night

because you hurt me,

it's not almost breaking up

because of my flaws,

it's not dismissing everything I say

because you don't want to deal with my drama,

it's not saying sorry you hurt me

even though you did,

and it's not lying and saying

"I'll change for you,"

when we both know

you'll never change for anyone.
