Think

Think I'm growing increasingly frustrated nowadays; like my mind is surrounded by some kind of haze that stops me from thinking too hard about things That would bring my consciousness outside of the ring That's been placed around me by my superiors To ensure that I remain inferior In thought and skill while I struggle to find Something deeper inside of this mind I try to think of elegant ways to solve little problems I find each day, but I get told that I'm dumb and there was only one thing that I could have done to "properly" bring all of the pieces of the puzzle together Well I don't think it matters whether or not I do it the way you want and there's certainly no need to taunt a creative idealist who wants to see how many solutions there may be. You see there are too many people in this world who think that shouting and fighting will sort out all the kinks as though the best way to end all war is to intervene ourselves and in doing so cause more. These people have resolved to act like hammers: smashing something when it isn't fully enamored by things that it stands for which have become so frail because it's resolved to treat its problems like nails, and things are never that simple, and they never will be and there's not a one size fits all solution like some magic skeleton key. Somehow, though, these people have been placed in charge when they really should be placed behind bars for the terrible things that that mentality's done thinking that every problem can be solved by a gun. I implore you,my friends, don't listen to them We live in a day where thinking is rare, and most people just don't seem to care enough about some things to think for themselves so they look to TV to hear someone else tell them what to think and how they should feel and what the people say on television is real. Nobody lies or misconstrues facts or at least they tell that to those who lack the motivation and thought to check things for themselvves, but hey, as long as you're happy, I guess all is well. People are dying in hordes every day, but since you don't know that everything is okay. This thinking is dangerous and will only lead to humans succumbing to malice and greed. Idiots and brutes have made us all scared to express our own thoughts or think someone will care, but we can all end this by just using our brains to fight against the social constrains. Thinking is rare nowadays, and I know that you'd much rather go watch your favorite show, and I also know that you think it might stink, but please just put some time aside and think.
