Think High
Die?
Fly
Yes I think of that high,
Where the birds hear my last cry,
Up there were there’s freedom in the sky.
Die?
Shy.
My hidden feelings hidden by a lie.
A smile and some laughter later turns into a sigh.
There’s not a knot? My heart’s a tie that wants to die.
Die?
Why?
Because there is no smile
Not even for a while.
I'm a burden that floats in your life like The Nile.
Stay with me and I’ll be like a loose tile.
I break, I shake then I manipulate
I'm not scared if it's too late.
Because when I ball up I explode,
Get vicious and ugly like a toad.
Toad? Toad?
Road!
Squash!
You cause my madness to destroy ONLY me, GOSH!
I want to grab my heart and just …...TOSS!
There is no argument I lost.
Your “perfect” while I get all the flaws.
I scratch with my paws.
I rumble, hear my roars.
I have no more rhyme!
I'm running out of time!
I want to be free but I’ve committed a crime!
AND NO I AM NOT FINE!
It's something I wear! But can't place it on a hanger!
HANGER! HANGER! HANGER!
ANGER!
Anger… sits in my stomach waiting for the next banger.
It made me strong and into a beast.
And my heart may be the last feast.
It doesn't matter where it originated from in my life.
But how to deal with it without a knife.
Because then it would ruin her life.
Die..
Hi!
I want to start over with Jesus as my guide.
We talk but I confuse him with my mind.
Maybe one day I’ll be free in the sky.
Where I’m proud and not shy.
Where my feelings are exposed and not any lie.
Where I praise him up high.
When I die, when I die, when I die.
Die.
But I have more ahead of me.
…
I have to think high.
