Think Wide Open

On the mountain

Amongst the many

Breathe the pure crisp air

That consumes your being.

Spread your wings

And leap.

Descend into a cool pool

With ripples,

A cool clear lagoon.

Eyes open,

Iris of grey,

Grey swirls of the brain,

Think you

Of nothing

But everything

Simple

And so plain.

Thoughts come and go

But you’ll always know

That in order to believe,

Achieve,

One must have pride,

stride,

And the will to think wide.
