Thinking...

What do you think when you see a Rubik's cube? If you do think anything at all when you see one, that is? When you see someone working in a cafe, what do you think? "Are they working to pay something off?" or "Are they working because they enjoy their job?" WHAT do YOU think... You see, I think a lot. I think about how people are, what I'm going to do when I wake up. Whether or not I do something new today. I get lost in thought... about dumb things, about sad things, about happy or cruel things. Things that keep me up all night. The brain wanders and I follow, willingly. obediently. I let my thoughts control how I see the world, how I see people, how I see everything. And it's not like I can escape my thoughts, my thoughts are forever. Always there, always creeping in at awful times. Making me question things I shouldn't question. Making me ask questions I shouldn't ask... It's a difficult thing to explain why we living creatures think. Why did we humans evolve to think? Evolve to have thoughts of our own instead of our minds constantly being blank, or just knowing what we had to do to survive? We all think, to understand one another. To understand ourselves. Next time I think, NEXT time you think. Remember, it's normal to think.
