Thinking Other Things
I used to stop and smell the flowers
But now I just pass them by
I always long to stop
But I never do.
Once I got hurt
I realized nature bites.
If I could, I'd go back
I would smell the flowers
I would sit down awhile in it's splendor.
But I can't go back now,
I can dream
I won't forget
I used to stop and smell the flowers
But now I think of other thoughts.
