Thinking Out Loud
It’s hard to get over you
I wish this wasn’t true
I’m tired of all the sad nights
Always feeling blue
I hate not having you
It makes me feel sick
But I see you moved on now
You got yourself a new chick
It’s my turn to move on now
So I find myself a new man
He’s cute and seems funny
This sounds like a good plan
I worked hard to find out his name
I asked the whole town
But once I finally got it
I saw nothing could be found
Maybe our first encounter was my only chance,
But I blew it
I keep trying to reach him
But there’s nothing left to it
Why do you get to be happy
Cuffed, with a new gilr
While I’m over here always crying
Feeling like I don't belong in this world
As if I’m worthless,
And no one will ever love me
I have to wear makeup and do my hair
So, I won’t feel ugly
All of my confidence
And all of my happiness are gone
But he gets to walk as if
Nothing was ever wrong
He knows how emotional I can get
But doesn’t even ask questions
We’re barely friends and I know
Those were his intentions
I know everything isn’t my fault
But that’s how I feel
When am I going to open my eyes
And see that this is actually real
That our relationship is actually done
And we’re not going to be together
How did it get this bad, but most importantly
How can I make it better
Because all the heartless moments
And awkward silence, doesn’t have to be
I just think to myself
Why is this happening to me?
I know what I did was wrong
But I can’t say sorry forever
I know this is the end but, I ain’t going to lie,
I wish we were still together
Something wrong with this poem?
