Thinking of You

Hey baby, I'm writing you a poem, Because I'm thinking of you while I lay at home. Eating and sleeping is all I really do, But I feel the need to have a surprise for you. So I'm writing a poem about our love, While you do your chem lab and put your hand in a glove. Well, you're perfect and everyone knows that, Especially because you joke that you're fat. We talk and text every single day, And when I see a text my heart screams, "Hooray!". You're just too awesome and I won't let you go, We will stay so close, through the highs and low. Someone like you is truly one of a kind, That's why you're the only thing on my mind. This is just half of today's surprise, So when you're done reading, gaze into my eyes.

I was thinking of my special someone while writing this after we had an argument
