Thinking of you

I lie awake at night blankly staring at the ceiling

Wishes sent to the stars with hopes you're thinking of me too

Questioning if you smile when my name pops up on your phone

Optimistic that I''m on your mind when you wake in the morning

Thoughts race through my mind at the speed of light

It's at that moment I'm thrusted into reality

I glance beside me to see nothing but a silhouette of my imagination
