Third Times a Charm

It is hard to imagine how anything positive can come from something so negative.

But I try, I try because you always told me to look on the bright side.

But all I see is the tears forming in my eyes…

Bull I’ll try again,

I’ll try because you always said to never give up.

Once again, the same thing happens.

Bull I’ll try once more, and this time I will try not only for you but for us.

I start to realize that you are still here.

I know it.

You are always with me;

You are watching over and protecting me.

So, although we won’t have laughs in long car rides anymore,

Or hold my hand on my graduation day,

Never walk me down the aisle, or meet your future grandchildren,

We still have the memories.

Memories that I will never forget,

Memories that I cherish and often think of.

And that is

Enough…
