Third Time's The Charm

I thought you were just a crush, and that I could get over you if I wanted to. I thought wrong.
Your skin is so soft, it's a comforting touch
Your lips are even better, I could kiss them all day if you'd let me
I love to get lost in your brown eyes, they remind me of calm times
I love the way you smile when you're happy
And even more when I'm the cause of that smile
Your freckles are scattered enough to be a nice addition
I'd trade my pillows for your thighs any day
The way you look in collared shirts distracts me from most tasks
When I'm with you, you make me feel happy and safe
You make me forget everything else in this shitty world
You keep me entertained, even on darker days
I adore you in a way I never knew I could
For months I've wanted to tell you
Our kisses aren't platonic anymore,
And you're wrong if you say otherwise.

I've confessed this love twice before;
Since then, it's done nothing but grow,
So I'm hoping third time's the charm.
I joined the zoo and your theatre so I could be with you more often
I thought it was obvious

I'm in love with you
I want to be yours
I doubt you feel the same, but I've learned to accept that you may not want to be mine.
Maybe I misread the situation
Maybe you never wanted me the way I wanted you
But that's okay, at least I tried
I don't want things to change, so if you don't love me back, tell me so I can move on.
