The Thirst for Knowledge

Various things in this world of ours are infinite,

They have always been so, and they always will be,

Just like the sun infinitely gives heat and light,

One of them, Knowledge-Thirst must be!

I don’t know how many feel this way and why,

But it is sure that it works in some I have known,

I have seen people from slums below and mountains high,

Upon whom this thirst has been bestown.

They tend to think much more than the others about it,

They do so with passion, don’t misunderstand the words,

For nothing can force them and they don’t fear being hit,

Because they crave the knowledge of even the feel able worlds.

Anyways, if you ever meet a person like that in your life,

Do not forget to treat him with the adequate respect,

For he is one of those who live for the betterment of human life,

And better than the most, in almost every aspect.
