Thirteen Years (True Story)

We met thirteen years ago Little kids who grew up together What was ahead of us was unknown But i knew he'd be there for me forever Years passed and times changed After middle school we lost our connection We sadly had to go our separate ways But now he's sick, if i forgot to mention. The doctors says there is not a lot they can do Everyone hopes and all thoughs who believe will pray His days are number, and there's only a few But maybe, just maybe, he could be healthy one day After thirteen years time seems to be slipping away I'm scared of every tomorrow, scared it might be his last day
