This is me...
I am a woman of open skies and dusty roads,
A heart that finds peace where the cattle roam,
Where sunsets spill gold across the veld,
And the noise of the world fades into home.
I am not made for drama or games,
I long for truth spoken clear and plain.
I carry my love with both hands open,
Yet still stand strong through joy and pain.
I am softer than people often see,
Yet stronger than many will ever know.
I bend with life's winds but do not break,
Like a wild grass taught by seasons to grow.
I love deeply, fiercely, completely,
The kind of love that stays when storms appear.
I treasure laughter, loyalty, and presence,
More than promises whispered in my ear.
I am a dreamer with dirt on my boots,
A soul that belongs beneath wide African skies.
I find beauty in simple things—
A glass of wine, a sunset, honest eyes.
I am still becoming who I was meant to be,
Learning when to hold on and when to let go.
Finding my voice, trusting my spirit,
And choosing the paths my own feet know.
I am not perfect, nor do I pretend.
I am human, hopeful, and wonderfully real.
A woman searching for peace, love, and purpose,
And brave enough to say exactly what I feel.
This is who I am:
A heart that loves,
A soul that endures,
A woman who keeps rising,
And a spirit that remains true.
