The Thistle
plumming purple
agaisnt all odds
birthed a bloom
in triumphant blood
with thorns to shield
and stalk of steel
plumming ponder
overcoming deil
seas of hail
hail from truth
the plumful plant
grew never in ruth
the plundering plume
strong willed thistle
admire its beauty
not the tale of its distal
