Thorn Girl

She's dancing alone in the broken park Thorns in her hair, a smile that cuts like glass. The petals fall, the air is weird and dark, And every step drags echoes from the past. The wolves are waiting, eyes like burning coal, They watch her move, knowing she won't look back Her voice is sharp, it leaves scratches in your soul, It twists the night and leaves a messy track. Mirrors crack, show pieces of her face, A thousand selves that nobody will meet. She trades her heart for some small stolen grace The shelves of time are bitter sweet. But in the dark, she owns her twisted pain- A queen of scars, she thrives inside the rain.
