Thorns

Dear Beauty,

From all angles

Your beauty stands out.

In the darkest of days,

Or even in a drought,

You stand proud.

Sometimes you may fall,

But we still see your beauty,

No matter how dull.

We’ll always be here.

We’ll always protect you,

So don’t fear.

My Rose,

You are the flower of love,

And with love, you need protection,

And for you, we’ll be brave.

-Your thorns
