Thorns
Roses.
Beautiful they are.
Pure, natural, and utterly gorgeous
When they are in full bloom.
Splendid and perfect
The red petals surround it.
The sweet aroma envelops it.
When the red rubies fall to the floor,
you are only left with a sharp sting
from the rigid thorns.
That's how you know it is a rose.
Life.
Beautiful it is.
Don't let its beauty fall.
Remember that there will always be thorns.
