Thor's Song

The darkening sky hinders a brooding anger Chaos The Sun flees from the approaching threat Afraid Her fellow creatures taking cover A metallic smell and a buzzing Resonating Throbbing Filling my senses The world gets cold Lightly at first, a peaceful spray The sky growling at the release of its heavy burden The sky swirls with the dark bundles Flickering every few heartbeats with Heaven’s power A flash The sky sighs Its breath rushes over the Earth As the cloud shout in relief Diamonds fall from the Sky, sparkling Spreading their radiance over the green The music begins The gushes The breezes Sing an unrecognizable language, old as time Whistling in my ear Rain and thunder drum a beat, matching perfectly with my heartbeat Lightning cues the tempo as Thor pounds his hammer in the clouds And through it all, I sit in cover Observing nature’s beauty As I listen to the song of the Gods
