To Those

To those weathering the wrinkles of time,

I am not who you describe me as.

To those battered by the racial bombardment,

I am a friend to you.

To those wounded by the indifferences,

I am a comforting third party.

To those disgusted by reality,

I am the ear for your rant.

To those blamed for the wrong,

I am a victim of that too.

To those different than me,

I am a light,

In a dark and gloomy world.
