Those Eyes & Butterflies

I never thought we would even get this far, The fact that we are even casual friends invigorates me When you ask about the homework or doing a group project Or complaining about teachers or bad grades I wish I could freeze those moments forever They way you look at me gives me butterflies And I never want to lose those butterflies And I love you for so many reasons But there is one I will always hold dear, Because those eyes caught my attention first, And those eyes will be the last thing I want to forget

A young girl chasing a dream that can't be caught, Holding onto hope that is too far gone Losing her mind trying to help others get theirs back Prayers go unanswered no matter what she does It's the life of no one, no one but me
